Cold Wind

October blows a cold wind
through my soul
Days of water and warmth
are gone

Nights of frozen stillness
seize the lonely one
Icy tendrils pierce
a barren heart

Twigs snap outside
the foggy window
Beware for the dead
of winter is coming

  3. I hope your October winds are such because in my town, they are nothing but dusty and dry

    1. Perhaps the words are not reflective of the weather at all Hammad? 🙂
