Shakespeare published 154 sonnets in his quarto in 1609. While the initial 126 are addressed to a young man, the final 28 are directed toward an enigmatic woman referred to as the dark lady.

The Waiting is Over! We Are Poetry: Lessons I Didn’t Learn in a Textbook is Here! 🥳

I followed my friend Dwight to Kym Gordon Moore’s blog and in particular to read and read about her new publication, “We Are Poetry.” I have barely started and already I’m shaking my head yes and spouting, “WOW” to my confused but loyal pups! Not only a fantastic and prolific writer, her insight and ability to motivate a resting or sleeping muse is incredible. Mine was dozing a bit, but is wide awake now! I’m so excited! And I just can’t hide it! I’m about to lose control and I think I like it!!! Channeling my inner Pointer Sisters! 😜 You can best bet I am grinning from ear to ear right about now. Of course, there was a snafu with the Kindle version, something about a reflowable error. I should have known things were going along a little too smoothly! 😝 They are in the process of getting this fixed and should take a couple of days, but the paperback version is READY!
