Little Girl

In response to Weekly Prompts Colour Challenge – Pinkish
From Sue W and GC

Two years ago you came to me
a tiny thing you were
A little girl from a distant farm
in need of a loving mom

I did not know that you’d become
so very important to me
A furry bundle of energy
looking more like a cub than a pup

Energetic and so inquisitive
yet so very shy and scared
Born into an Amish family
calm and quiet all you knew

Like the sweet pink flowers
you loved to pounce
You blossomed into this beauty
Without you now I would be lost

My little pink harnessed new puppy!
