To Hug A Porcupine

In response to Bartholomew Barker’s Living Poetry: Monday Poetry Prompt – PORCUPINE

I want to hug a porcupine
I’m not sure why
I don’t know why

They are so cute so round and puffy
They like to walk and waddle by
They waddle by they waddle by

Little noses twitch and sniff
Finding flowers and pine
Flowers and pine

Stroke him gently down his spines
If I could I’d make him mine
and then I’d hug my porcupine

  1. OMG this is so cute! Yes, it needs music! And have you ever seen the video of a porcupine eating a pumpkin? Google it. It’s adorable because they make the most charming noises!

      1. ❤ I just read it again. This needs music. You know the song, "All I want for Christmas is a hippopotamus"? This could make you rich!
