An ace at word smithing
the village elders called her
The term made her smile
she did not mind

Adept at choosing just the right phrase to lighten the day
and help others
in expressing their love

A cognoscente connoisseur
a wizard of the written word
Sought after far and wide
for her proficient word mastery

Until one day the expert scholar
asked them to call her by name
None could remember it so
she bid them farewell

Saying with her artists smile
It would do you well this night
to remember the girl wordsmith
whose name is Maven the Whiz
