Listen

Graphic by YoungDigitalDesigns

In response to dVerse’ Quadrille Monday Prompt: MUSIC (in exactly 44 words not counting the title)
Hosted by Linda Lee Lyberg

Listen past the constant hum hum
of cars pounding tired tires on broken
pavement

Hear the music of Nature living
her heartbeat strong beneath your
feet

Smell the richness of the fertile soil
she provides to all those willing to
toil

Too many don’t listen to that tune I am afraid.

Yeah we need those damn cars but they certainly are a nuisance when you’re trying to enjoy nature. Well written Ami I enjoyed it.🙂✌🏼🕊❣️

Nicely done, Ami. I like the onomatopoeic ‘hum hum’ and the contrast of the ‘pounding tired tires’ and ‘heartbeat strong beneath your feet’.

        Thanks!

BTW, please feel free to call me ‘David’ ~ that’s my first name.

The word ‘ben’ simply means ‘son of’ in Hebrew, and my father’s name was ‘Alexander’… I created my blog in his memory.

I know it’s confusing, Ami, because ‘Ben’ is a common name in English ~ I’m sorry about the confusion!

        Much love ❤
        David

Hi David! Apologies, I knew that from our past correspondence. Sometimes I forget I have memory problems! 😵‍💫
