My flowers have bloomed
there’s barely any room
so full and luscious they are
After watering them last night
I wound the hose up tight
slipped into my bed to sleep
Bright morning had come

to go out and enjoy my new buds
Oh horror and dismay
to find my garden in disarray
not a single flower bud in sight

each stem and bud vitiated

Our bunnies are everywhere, front yard, back yard, and fenced pasture. Hubby brought the boys back from grooming late yesterday and they usually go directly into the garage. Nope, Cooper (the bunny hunter) sited one and took off into the woods. He won’t listen to any commands when he is focused on rabbits. Once he lost it, he turned around and trotted back home, like he’d done nothing.
