War Games

A clash of cultures
is to blame
War results
throwing names

Each resolved
their way is right
Gives the humans
a reason to fight

Without war
there is too much growth
The man in charge
takes his oath

Each term it seems
they must pretend
The end for us
they all portend

The world itself
has become too small
Urban sprawl engulfs
old country drawl

Spirit searches
to believe and trust
It matters not
if they are the same as us

Each of us starts
and ends the same
No matter how
we play life’s game

  2. Enjoyed this one Ami. Looking at the image, it looked something like a couple dancing.
