Persephone and Athena
Two sisters of yore
Together mourned
the loss of their home
Millennia had come and millennia had gone since Zeus and Hera’s
home this had been with
many godly children born within
Zeus rose stones thirty times
his weight encrusting jewels
into the massive castle gates
and crystals throughout within
But the likes of men and the likes
of war Zeus considered not at all
and now their home of long ago is naught but fallen crumbling rock
