I received a gift today
a flower bush here by the sea,
that caused me to reevaluate my first letter C.
A deep green bush
it’s branches strong,
luscious flowers
all summer long.
Just as autumn breaks
summer’s lingering heat,
Camellia surprises with
a special treat.
Though it blooms in midsummer
weather are so vibrant, ultra bright.
In the fall this little gem provides a color storm of unequaled delight.
Once again at autumn’s calling
it’s buds will open to the sun.
Making Camellia a proficient
bloomer, and my heart it’s won.
Beautiful.
