Daisy my sweet Daisy
in my garden you do grow
Your varied seeds sprinkled on the ground rise up
some planted row by row
Your colors amaze
even cause quite a craze
Happy within my garden
you grow so tall or
choose to stay petite and small
Well known around the world
a spring and summer delight
From childhood dreams
to floral wedding streams
my Daisies shine so bright
When darkness threatens
a timid soul
weary of the struggle
and pain begins to
overthrow
There you are your face
so clear of obscure insensibilities
Glowing happily under the sun
your roots down deep
in stability
I like the poem. Great colour in the photo!

Me too Willow! I have dreams of running through fields and fiends of Daisies without harming a single one. Impossible of course, not harming any and the running, but it’s a great dream when I have it! 🌸🌼🌸
