Aromatic Aster cluster together
lavender blooms fill profusely
the last until late October
Blue to nearly black blooms
bounce happily upon
your short stocky bush
Colorful sprays of purple
reach lovingly to the sun
following its path all day
Delightful perennial
you return each Spring
to gladden this gardener’s heart
